Cancellation Policy

In order to be respectful of the medical needs of all our patients, please contact our office promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. This gives us the ability to reallocate the appointment for another pet who is in need of treatment. You must call to cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. On-farm equine appointments and small animal surgeries require 48-hour advance notice. Outside of business hours, messages may be left with our answering service or sent via text message and email.

Late Cancellations: A cancellation is considered to be late when the appointment is cancelled without a 24-hour advance notice, or 48-hours for on-farm appointments and surgeries.

Missed Appointment: This is when you miss an appointment without contacting the clinic to cancel it. This may also include arriving 10 minutes or more after your scheduled appointment time without calling ahead. If you arrive late to your appointment you may be asked to reschedule. Be mindful that our appointments are carefully scheduled and because of this the doctor may not have time to give your pet the full exam and care it needs before the next appointment arrives.

The charge for missed appointments and late cancellations is $125.00, taken as a non-refundable prepayment when scheduling any future appointments.

We do understand life is not always predictable and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule, and be considerate of extenuating circumstances.
